As per our monitoring contract: it is your (the home owners or business owners) responsibility to perform a system test every 30 days. In you Owners Manual, the process is explained step by step. If you are unable to perform the test, Please call us or Brinks and we will help you with the test. This test gives you peace of mind that your system is working correctly and if not then we need to come out ant correct any problems with the system.
Changing your Landlind phone service to an IP phone service, or from Cable TV or any other telephone or Cell Phone carrier can cause a communication problem with the control panel and Brinks (the monitoring company). Please contact us before you change your phone service.
Please reread your Owners manual to help you with any trouble problems that may show up on your key pad and please keep your manual in a handy safe place.
It is also your responsibility to notify us about any changes on your subscriber information sheet. One example of a change would be any phone number change, to you or any one appearing on the subscriber information sheet. Another example of a change would be to add or remove a contact person. If we do not have the correct phone numbers or contact information, Brinks will be unable to notify the proper authorities in the event of an alarm. If you’re not sure we have the correct contact information, please call us so we can go over our records with you.
If you are experiencing problems with your alarm system and need to contact us during normal business hours. Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm central time, Please call our toll-free number at 1-877-445-5444. If you need help after hours or on weekends please call Brinks 24-hour customer support, toll-free at 1-800-447-9293. Please keep these numbers with your Owners Manual.
